New Tool Library with Borrow It! is now live

Borrow tools and essential items!

We’re thrilled to announce the Tool Library in partnership with Borrow It is now live for Islington residents. Register now to borrow the tools you need to get the job done! 

How does it work?

Borrow It! run several Tool Libraries in Kings Cross and Archway, London. We have hundreds of tools and useful things. You can join for a small monthly subscription or membership is free if you live in social housing or are on a low income.

Need a sewing machine for a small project or a drill to hang a new picture? Why not Borrow It! It’ll save you money and stop unnecessary tools ending up in landfill.

Register at borrowit.org.uk  then with their quick approval process you’ll be able to reserve and borrow tools from our locker system.

Caxton House Community Centre 129 St John's Way, N19 3RQ

Collections and returns can be made in the collection times below using your allocated PIN number. All items need to be returned by 12noon on Wednesdays.

FRIDAY            12.30-8.30pm  (August will close at 5.30pm)
SATURDAY      9.30am-12.30pm

Membership Fees 

FREE for Islington residents in social housing or on low income
£3.75 per month for other residents in Islington, London
