Handicraft Exhibition 2019  

The annual exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all our over 50's artists hard work. A huge thank you to all our artists, everyone that attending the showcase, the Co-op and our volunteers.  

Hillrise Winter Festivals & Bring-a-dish Lunch 2019

A huge thank you to all our local residents and volunteers for making this years Winter Festivals the best yet! We got very lucky with the weather for our Songs & Carols (although no snow), and finished the evening off with our Christmas Quiz. We'd also like to thank our volunteer Thomas for coming along with the band Deja Vu to both events. See below highlights of the day:

 

The Co-op Local Community Fund

 

Caxton House was fortunate enough to be one of the charities chosen to as part of the Co-op Local Community Fund in 2019.

   

We'd like to say a big thank you to the Co-op and their members for raising £11,956.78 through the Co-op Local Community Fund!

Strictly Caxton Fundraisers Success!

  

A huge thank you to everyone that attended the Strictly Caxton fundraiser, you raised an amazing £775!

 

Of course a massive thank you to Mariusz from MR Ballroom, to Kystof Natalia for their  wonderful performance, to all the volunteers and for the cakes donated by  SusieLoo Cupcakes.

Caxton House has closed all its services and activities in response to current guidance from central government to reduce social contact in the community.

We recognise that these are very challenging times, but Islington’s community is standing together and help is at hand. If you are in any way isolated or need our support with food delivery, collecting medicines or just want a friendly voice to speak to, please let us know so that we can put you in touch with the support you need.

Neighbourhood Help Bank (N19 area)

St Andrew’s Church and WHPARA are linking up those who need support and those who would love to help. If you are self-isolating or need a little support in this confusing time, they will try to link you up with someone who can offer the help you need, whether that’s shopping, collecting prescriptions or a chat over the phone.
