FREE Pilates Taster Sessions


Join us for two free Pilates taster sessions for adults, held:
Wednesday 2nd November and Wednesday 9th November 2016

10am - 11am in the Cafe


Pilates is a series of mat-based exercised to strengthen and stretch the entire body, focusing on core strngth and body awareness.


Pilates is proven to improve strength, flexibility, posture, can ease back pain and imrpoves your general fitness and wellbeing.


All levels welcome, and options are given for each exercise so all can benefit from the class.

FREE Accredited IT Course - Skills for Work


Looking to gain a qualification and develop your computer skills for the workplace?


The Archway Employment Cluster with Adult and Community Learning Service is offering a new FREE accredited IT course for Islington residents or parents with children in Islington schools.

You must be 19 or over, unemployed or low-waged and receiving benefits


If you’re interested, come along to the assessment session and speak to one of the tutors:
Assessment Sessions - Skills for Work held on Tuesday 1st of November 9.30am - 11.30am
At Caxton House Community Centre, 1st Floor Conference Room,
129 St John’s Way , London N19 3RQ .


This course is accredited and will be running on Tuesdays,
starting 8th November and ending 13th December 2016, from 9:30am – 12:30pm.

Elthorne Pride Big Local - Annual General Meeting 2016


The first Annual General Meeting for Elthorne Pride Big Local will now be taking place on Thursday 27th October 2016.

Change of venue: St. John's Community Centre, Holland Walk, London N19 3XU


Please note this is not an open meeting and you need to register your attendance by Tuesday 5pm 11th October.


How to attend: 

All Elthorne Pride residents will receive a letter through the post at the end of September with details of how to attend the AGM, how to be formally elected on to the board and how to register your interest in the initiative.
