Local Stories
As part of Community Centre Week

We'd like to thank everyone for coming along to our annual Local Stories event.

It was a lovely day, with some wonderful stories and photos brought along by the attendees, sharing their local histories and memories.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Community Centre Week 2018!

Islington Council's Community Energy Fund
Replacement Lighting

Islington Council invited groups with bright ideas for dynamic local energy projects to apply for funding to help turn them into reality.

A dozen ideas and projects have won funding in the first round of the Community Energy Fund and are now in the works and we are delighted to announce that our replacement lighting project is one of the successful applications. This project will see our lights replaced with LED bulbs saving up to three tonnes of carbon per year and cutting our energy bills by hundreds of pounds.
