Grow Wild at Caxton House

 Hillrise Summer Festival 2018

Held on Saturday 11th August 2018

The festival grew again this year, with new stalls and even more attendees. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, the sun shone throughout, and estimate a turn out of over 500 people on the day.

We'd like to thank the Mayor David Poyser and MP Jeremy Corbyn for attending, all our wonderful volunteers and stall holders and of course everyone that joined us on that day. We'd also like to thank Worship Tabernacle for their donation of a popcorn and slushie stand on the day.

Highlights of the day included the Wild Fangs Exotic Animal Show, Monkey-Do Tree Climbing, Henna with Joyful, Terrarium and Flower Headdress Making, The Bee Man and We Can Grow, Face Painting with St. Andrew's Church, Painting with Living Space Art School, Penalty Shoot Out with Arsenal in the Community, the popular Hillrise Bake-off, and of course the wonderful food!
