COVID-19 Update: November 2020


Due to the National lockdown (Nov 5 - Dec 2) many of our services are suspended again. Tutors will notify current participants of any changes and cancellations but please contact us if you are unsure.


As many of you know we suspended our activities in March, in response to guidance from central government; we are now looking at how we can reopen our services safely. Unfortunately it still isn't possible to open all of our previous projects so a number have moved online. See what's on at the centre and our online classes here

For many this has been a very challenging time,  but Islington’s community is standing together and help is at hand.


There are a number of services available for those in need of support. For example support with food deliveries, collecting medicines or just for a friendly voice to speak to.

What to expect when visiting the centre:

There have been a number of changes and adaptations to our centre in line with government guidance. These changes include: 

  • Hand sanitizing points at entry/exit points, necessary touch points, and by toilets
  • One way routes on each floor of the building
  • Masks must be worn when in the centre and users must stay 2m apart
  • You must pre-book your place on any activity or meeting, no drop ins
  • Smaller/limited places in classes
  • Increased cleaning schedule and deep cleaning
  • Clear signage and guidance, e.g. on hand washing


Please note there may be additional changes or sudden suspension of services depending on local or national restrictions. Always make sure you double checked your class or appointment with the tutor if there's anything you're unsure about.
