At the Caxton House Stay & Play  we provide opportunities for children under the age of 5 to grow, play and develop vital skills. Come along to join in with activities such as messy play, circle and story time, and much more!

Please note due to COVID guidelines places are limited and booking is required. We're unable to offer our healthy snack table and ask parents/carers to not bring food.

For ages 13-21 years

 

A free inclusive year-long programme introducting young people to aerial acrobatics, physical theatre and choreography to explore and develop aerial skills; using exciting aerial equipment such as cocoons, hoop, silks, rope and Chinese pole. This programme is free but requires commitment.

The Recycle & Stitch Studio

5-week sewing courses

 Free

Thursdays 4-6pm on the 1st floor

For ages 13-19 years

  

Run with small groups of 4/5 people, you'll get
1-1 support and will learn a mixture of hand and machine sewing techniques. We focus on teaching skills with sustainability, using vintage, donated and upcycled fabrics wherever possible.

Support Group for Young People

with Gendered Intelligence

A support group for transgender, non-binary or gender questioning young people and adults aged 8-30 run by a trans-led and trans-involving grassroots organisation with a wealth of lived experience, community connections of many kinds, and a depth and breadth of trans community knowledge that is second to none.
